About Doctor Pezeshkian

Growing up in Iran, Dr. Pezeshkian dreamed of persuing a career in which he could help others. As a young man, he applied for national exams given in dentistry and medicine. More than 18,000 took the exam and he finished second. He also finished top 10 in the dental exam. Once he finished dental school, Dr. Pezeshkian began compulsory military service. He provided dental care to his countrymen. He was eager to leave the country and learn more. In 1975 he traveled to England after leaving the military to complete a 1 year residency in London. Then after, he moved to Boston, Massachusets. Once he step foot in Boston, he never stopped studying. After two years, he received his doctor of dental medicine at the Henry M. Goldman school of graduate dentistry, part of Boston University. He received his certificate of advanced graduate study from Tufts University school of dental medicine in Boston, as well as a master of science in periodontics and oral biology from Boston University. Dr. Pezeshkian then moved to California with his wife in 1987. 


About The Staff

The staff here at the office of Dr. Pezeshkian are very experienced dental assistants and dental hygienists. They assist in all of the surgeries provided, along with X-rays, the removal of sutures, impressions, assisting in IV sedation, and making sure that all of our patients are being taken care of. All staff are knowledgable in dental insurance policies. We are also proud to offer services in English, Spanish, Russian and Farsi.
